Discover our unique private cabins that perch on the edge of a deep valley covered with native bush and alive with native birds. Hear the rushing stream that makes its way along the valley floor below the cabins.

WindyFlax and WaterSong are proudly off the grid – solar for lights and gas for cooking and hot water. There are no power plugs, no cellphone coverage and no wifi available there. This is part of the uniqueness of Wildcoast Cabins. Come and stay and unwind. Opt-out for a night or a few, enjoy the stars at night, rest, read, walk, ride, swim, talk … escape! Tune into nature and the environment.

WindyFlax is set among flax and native bush with lovely views of the sea. The perfect spot to watch the sun set.

WaterSong is nestled among the manuka with beautiful valley and sea views. The rushing stream nearby can be heard night and day.

Both cabins are set up with all your basic needs met – all you need to do is bring along your food supplies. All linen and towels are supplied. Each cabin includes a queen size bed and a sofa bed, but additional bedding is available on request.

Sit on the deck and watch the sun set into the ocean, drink fresh mountain water and soak in the bath with a view.

Prices:        $250 per cabin per night

Feedback from happy guests …

“A great weekend away! The cabin has everything you need for a switched-off weekend and with long walks on the beach or through the bush, there was heaps to explore. The girls (2x13yr olds) joined a horse riding group and loved it. The bonus was it was dog-friendly. We all had a great weekend.”

“Total seclusion, peace and quiet in this amazing place run by genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful people. Can’t recommend highly enough and we will definitely be back!”

“Perfect little cabin and getaway. You have everything you need for a nice eco-retreat and the hosts are wonderful. The horse trek is fun and catered to your experience level. Highly recommended!”
